Martinselkonen Wilds Centre
Martinselkonen Wilds Centre is a wildlife centre in the midst of the great wilderness in Suomussalmi.
During the no-snow season the Wilds Centre focuses on organizing guided wildlife watching and photography tours. Species which can be observed are e.g. brown bears, moose, wolverines, black kites and white-tailed eagles. In the winter season Martinselkonen Nature Preserve provides excellent possibilities for skiing and ice-jigging, and also for dog sledding.
The wildlife centre´s main buildings provide comfortable accommodation and dining services.
