Santavillage in Kuhmo / Kalevala Feast Forge offers program services, camping accommodation and restaurant services in Kuhmo in the Kalevala area.
Kalevala camping is on the shore of Lake Lammasjärvi with 25 electrified caravan sites, 8 sheds, tent sites and saunas as well as a smoke sauna. Also available for rent is the Sotka cabin next to Hotel Kalevala. Kuhmo is known for its Tar Road and rapids, and canoes are available for rent to explore them. We also rent mountain bikes, SUP boards, kayaks, fat bikes and rowing boats. In winter, snowmobiles, snowshoes, ski sets and ice fishing equipment are available.
The café-restaurant of Pohjola House (licence to serve alcohol) has 100 seats, and a terrace for 30 people in the summer. Cafe Torilla offers delicious handmade burgers on our premises. There is a versatile outdoor playground for children. Pohjola House also organizes private events: weddings, birthdays, memorial services, and family celebrations.
