Boreal Wildlife Centre
Boreal Wildlife Centre is a company based in Kuhmo, providing first-class wildlife observation and photography services in Viiksimo, Kuhmo. The team is international and comprises Finnish, Belgian and French staff who are involved in numerous nature-related projects.
In Viiksimo large carnivores have been photographed for over 20 years. It provides excellent opportunities to see wolverines, bears and wolves. As well as wolverines and bears being frequent visitors to the area so are capercaillie, black grouse, moose and wild forest reindeer. The company also offers accommodation.
