From September to March, Lentiira Stargazing invites you to experience the silent majesty of the taiga wilderness, where the stars shine brighter and the universe reveals its secrets. Lentiira, in the wilderness of Kuhmo, offers one of Finland’s most remarkable stargazing locations.

Guided by professional astronomer Rob Johnstone, this intimate journey offers an exclusive opportunity to explore the heavens with state-of-the-art telescopes, away from the intrusion of city lights.

With the guidance of Rob and the precision of GPS-guided telescopes, each object becomes more than a point of light: it becomes a story in the vast chronicle of the universe.

Over the course of your evening, you may glimpse the grandeur of Saturn’s rings, the swirling storms of Jupiter, the red dust of Mars, or the faint glow of distant galaxies. Peer into nebulae—the cosmic cradles where stars are born—or marvel at the ancient brilliance of globular clusters, shining with countless suns. As the Milky Way stretches above you, a hot drink in hand, your guide will unfold the map of the cosmos, leading you through a journey of wonder lasting one to two unforgettable hours.
