Week filled with activities
This week is for fun, action and activities such as husky safari, crosscountry skiing, snowshoeing and wildlife watching. For your free time you may book optional activities such as rapid swimming, fat bike tour, ice-fishing etc. Do also try some kick-sledding, tobogganing, making snow angels, walking on the snow, visiting Kuhmo village in our special museums.

ITIANARY
DAILY: breakfast, evening saunas with indoor and hot tubs
DAY 1
Arrival in Kuhmo, accommodation at the lakeside Hotel
Kalevala, evening saunas with indoor and outdoor hot tubs
DAY 2 – CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
Easy and beginner-friendly cross-country skiing lesson. After
the lesson, you’re free to continue skiing at your own pace,
enjoying the pristine silence of the wilderness.
DAY 3 – HUSKY SAFARI
Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure with friendly husky
dogs who are always happy to meet new people. After a brief
introduction to dog sledding and safety instructions, you’ll set
off on a safari through the snowy landscape. After the
adventure, enjoy hot juice and snack and remember to give
your dog team a well deserved pets.
DAY 4- WILDLIFE TRACKING
A presentation where you can get to know Finland’
s wild
animals and birdlife. After lunch time, we will continue into the
winter nature.
Discover the Magic of Silent Forests with snowshoes
Follow the trails of wolverines, elks, and hares as you learn to
read nature’s signs.
DAY 5 – SNOWMOBILE SAFARI
Snowmobile Safari – Speed Through the Arctic Landscape
Feel the thrill of adventure as you hop onto a snowmobile and
zoom across frozen lakes and through dense forests on this
guided safari.
DAY 6 – OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES
The day is free for new activities, relaxation or exploring the
small town of Kuhmo on your own initiative. Optional activities
posibilities dog sled rides, snowmobile trips, rapid floating,
northern lights tours, ice fishing, or enjoying the snow-covered
nature with rented snowshoes or cross-country skis.
DAY 7
Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
Welcome again and have a safe journey home.
