Programme description

This canoeing trip is an ideal choice for beginners! We set off from the shores of Hotel Kalevala and paddle toward Harakkasaari Island.

Along the way, your guide will share stories about the island’s fascinating history, including its Stone Age roots and its current status as a protected nature reserve.

Once we reach the island, we’ll head ashore for a relaxing break and snacks by the campfire. The island is also a wonderful spot for swimming, so feel free to take a refreshing dip in the lake if you like!

After our break, we’ll paddle around the island and return to the hotel shore.
