Programme description

Immerse with your group in a concert where the unique combination of music and cuisine comes to life. Enjoy dishes inspired by famous composers and their fascinating stories about their relationship with food. This event blends music and gastronomy into an unforgettable experience.

Many composers have been food enthusiasts, master chefs, and talented gourmands. Taste and sound are holistic sensory experiences that stimulate the body, emotions, and intellect all at once.

Soprano Ritva Huttunen has persistently pursued her dream, earning a professional qualification in classical singing later in life. She has sung in the choirs of Cajanus and Raate operas, held solo concerts, participated in numerous musical ensembles, and appeared in the Winter War film.

Pianist Merja Matero is a Master of Music and cantor-organist, graduated from the Sibelius Academy. Alongside her work, Matero has accompanied numerous singers and instrumentalists. She has also performed her own organ and vocal concerts.

Program Includes:

Music by Clara Schumann, Ludwig van Beethoven, Johannes Brahms, Jean Sibelius, and Toivo Kuula
Culinary delights inspired by composers’ food stories
Served courses: Prelude I & II (starters), Adagio I & II (main courses), Finale (dessert)
Binding reservations 4 weeks in advance
