Miranda Vissers is an environmental artist. She has a background of a MSc in environmental health studies and an education in monumental arts. Her work is created out of love for nature and also a concern about the environment. The works in the exhibition are inspired by the journeys to Pohjola, the Northland that are taken by the characters in Kalevala.
