Wild Taiga companies offer an extensive selection of nature and cultural programmes, which are presented in detail on this website. However, most Wild Taiga products can be tailored and modified according to the customer’s wishes. If you cannot find the product you were looking for, or the product on offer is not quite what you had in mind, don’t hesitate to contact the service provider for tailoring the product according to your liking.

You can build a diverse Wild Taiga holiday by combining the services of different companies. In addition to accommodation, your package can include programme services, such as animal watching and activities, transport, equipment hire, events, etc. It is also possible to include accommodation and programme services from neighbouring areas, such as Vuokatti, Kajaani, Kuusamo, Pohjois-Karjala and Lapland, in your package. Extra nights in Helsinki are another possibility, and transport from Helsinki Airport to the city can be arranged for groups. Transport to the Wild Taiga area is available from the airports of Kajaani, Kusaamo, Oulu and Kuopio. Extra nights in airport towns can be arranged as a matter of course.

There are two companies responsible for tailoring packages that combine products from different companies.Upitrek is a nature travel company founded in 2000, with a clientèle mostly made up of international travellers. Upitrek is also the DMC of the Wild Taiga area. Taiga Spirit, founded in 2006, has specialized in wildlife watching and photographing tours and combining wildlife tours with nature activities.

Both companies are registered in the Travel Agents’ Register, maintained by the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority.
