Juminkeko is the information centre dedicated to the Kalevala and the Karelian culture. Located in the hearth of Kuhmo, Juminkeko is the best place to start exploring the local culture. Join our guided tour and get to know the Finnish epic and the Karelia of the White Sea. Juminkeko offers a variety of exhibitions, short movies and cultural events. It also arranges cultural trips to the Karelia of the White Sea. The centre features a small shop with books, postcards and jewels.

In July open daily from 12 to 18.
It is possible for groups to visit Juminkeko outside the opening hours.
Entrance fee:Adults 5 euros
Students, pensioners and unemployed 3 euros
Groups over 15 persons 3 euros per person
Children (until 15 years old) free-of-charge
