Programme description

On Tuesday, April 25, the same day that Elias Lönnrot met the runosinger Arhippa Perttunen, a Day of Runosinging will be held in Kuhmo.

Arhippa sang 4100 verses, that later were included in the Kalevala.

The event is part of Kuhmo is a cultural capital of Finno-Ugric world program.
